Where is the best place to get a Discone antenna?? I mainly wanna listen to GRN/PMR and Airband but tricy dickies is way too much. I have to pull down my 30 feet TV antenna so I thought i may as well chuck a discone on top of it. So if anyone has a discone antenna for my scanner, let me know, ill pick it up. Not fussed if it needs a good clean or has a bent element, ill fix it. Thanks HS

Hi everyone, ive been into scanners for 15 years and loved it..but i havnt listened since digital in NSW, sold my Icom ICR3 and just have an old desktop scanner... Im loving the online streams too...finally i can listen again. Any way ill hang around and chat ;) oh whil i remember, I have a Uniden GNS8600 SATNAV with 7" TFT screen and want to swap for a digital scanner if anyone is interested...Hand Held or desktop doesnt matter. The satnav rrp for $1599. Anyway, cheers Jas
